Welcome to the National Work Zone and First Responder Safe Course for Teen Drivers.

In this course, you will learn about being a work zone and first responder safe teen driver and the faces that share the road and work zone with you.

To advance to the next section of the course, are required to watch the videos fully and correctly complete the quiz.

This section explores the behaviors that lead to an unsafe work zone and how a driver can be better prepared to enter the work zone.

• Queuing entering, and exiting work zones
• Mobile operations and additional devices
• Work Zones at night

Work Zone Safe Faces

This section is about meeting the faces and families behind the flag, cones, and flashing lights. Employees, contractors, and first responders who work on our roadways and share a common goal of being work zone and first responder safe. You will also hear directly from teens impacted by unsafe work zone and first responders drivers.

Work Zone Safe Educational Scholarship

Upon completing Work Zone Safe, you will be awarded a certificate of completion and entered to win a monthly $500 educational scholarship provided by the American Traffic Safety Services Foundation.
